Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator is a pivotal leadership role within the Casuarina Beach Rugby Club, responsible for the seamless coordination of our day-to-day operations. Working under the guidance of the Club President and the Executive Team, you will be the driving force behind our game-day logistics and the successful execution of all home games.
We are looking for a passionate rugby enthusiast who brings a pleasant, friendly manner to every interaction. Because our club thrives on community spirit, you must be a natural collaborator who enjoys working alongside our dedicated volunteers to get the job done.

Locally Connected: While not a requirement, being a local resident with a genuine familiarity with the Casuarina Beach Rugby Club will be a distinct advantage.
Employment Terms & Logistics
Availability: The successful candidate must be present at all Home Games:
Juniors Friday Nights: 5:00 p.m – 10:00 p.m. (approx 15 home games)
Seniors Saturdays: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (approx. 10 games)
Remuneration: Paid hourly. (Approx. 5 hours Friday / 7 hours Saturday).
Administration: Additional mid-week administrative hours will be negotiated as required.
Pay Rate: Available upon application.
Key Responsibilities
1. Game Day Management
Game Day Manager: Responsible for the overall operation of the days games
Facilities: Oversee complete setup and pack-down of the grounds. Ensure fields, changing rooms, and equipment are match-ready.
Officials & Logistics: Confirm referee bookings, manage the scoreboard, and act as the primary liaison for referees and opposition clubs.
Canteen & Events: Coordinate canteen operations in partnership with the Canteen Coordinator and assist in the execution of special game-day events.
Communication: Clearly distribute match-day and operational information to all relevant parties in a timely manner.
Culture: Provide and promote a positive, welcoming and supportive culture within the club at all times.
2. Leadership & Volunteer Coordination
On-the-Ground Support: Provide direction and support to volunteers on game days, ensuring all roles are filled and responsibilities are understood.
Equipment Oversight: Maintain the storage shed and audit team/club equipment to ensure everything is in good working order.
Problem Solving: Identify operational gaps and propose creative solutions to enhance the club's performance and match-day experience.
3. Club Operations & Player Wellbeing
Executive Liaison: Maintain regular reporting lines to the President and Vice President.
Stakeholder Support: Support coaches and team managers with logistics and administration to allow them to focus on player performance.
Wellbeing: Foster a welcoming environment; ensure player welfare is a priority and liaise with the club wellbeing officer as required.
Key Relationships
Reports to: Club President.
Collaborates with: Vice President, Coaches, Team Managers, Club Coordinators, Volunteers.
Desired Skills & Attributes
Strong organisational and communication skills with an eye for detail.
Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a passion for community rugby.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders and volunteers.
Mandatory: Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Preferred: Current First Aid qualification.
Online Smart Rugby and Game Day Manager tutorials to be completed
