WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
The Merchandise & Gear Steward looks after everything players and members wear with the club name on it. You order the gear, keep stock under control and sell it, which builds club pride and brings money in.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Order and buy club merchandise and player apparel.
Do regular stocktakes so inventory numbers are right.
Sell merchandise at events, game days and online where it suits.
Keep clear records of stock movement, sales and orders.
Work with suppliers so orders arrive on time.
Plan merchandise needs with the committee based on activities and demand.
Advise players and members on merchandise options.
Store stock securely and present it well when selling.
Support fundraising through merchandise sales.
