WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The Coaching Coordinator backs every coach in the club, junior and senior. You keep coaching consistent with club values and make sure player development, welfare and enjoyment stay front and centre.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and guide coaches across junior and senior levels.

  • Help recruit, onboard and mentor new coaches.

  • Promote one consistent coaching philosophy across all grades.

  • Give coaches access to training resources, pathways and session plans.

  • Look after player welfare and development with the coaches.

  • Run or arrange coaching workshops, meetings and accreditation opportunities.

  • Help coaches meet Rugby Australia and union accreditation requirements.

  • Be the link between the coaching group and the committee.

  • Encourage coaches to learn from each other, and lead the end of season coaching review

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong knowledge of coaching and player development

  • Excellent people skills

  • Experience coaching or in sports leadership

  • Organised and supportive

  • Mentors with positivity and respect

  • Committed to player welfare

TIME COMMITMENT

  • Coaching group meetings as required

  • Regular contact with coaches through the season

  • Support at pre-season, training and game days where needed

  • Coaching reviews and end of season planning
