WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The Club Captain is the voice of the senior playing group on the committee. You carry players' views to the table and bring the committee's back, get players involved in game day and club life, and set the standard for how the club conducts itself on and off the field.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Represent the views and concerns of senior players at committee meetings.

  • Be the bridge between players and the committee, both ways.

  • Help organise game days and get players involved in set up and pack down.

  • Lead post match speeches and presentations respectfully and inclusively.

  • Promote club values, sportsmanship and team unity.

  • Connect with players at training and game days and rally support for club initiatives.

  • Pass player feedback to coaches and the committee constructively.

  • Encourage players to join club events, fundraisers and volunteer roles.

  • Model leadership, respect and club pride at all times.
